Could you demonstrate how you came up with this calculation?
I just ran a quick calculation on my actual DUK / SE portfolio (which I haven't touched since the split) and I calculate an equivalent/combined share value of $32.54 at the close today as compared to the presplit share value of $33.21 on 12/29.
It's not nearly as dismal as you seem to think it is.
Thanks for the feedback. I compute one share of DUK at 100% of today's price of $ 19.47/share. I compute one share of SE at 50% of today's price of $ 26.14/share, or $ 13.07/share. $ 19.47 + $ 13.07 = $ 32.54.
