I have been monitoring the underlying shares of Infosys for the past 7 years and am accumulating at every dip. It is a great stock for my retirement. The returns on my original investment at the Indian IPO is an astounding 500 times (not 500%, mind you).
It is at present a great opportunity to accumulate IMHO.
Why you type such stupid messages, that the ADR is worth $40, if that was the case tell me this, why is it about $60 (120/2), on the BSE, think about it then, these shares would be trading below the Indian exchange. Man your a stupid retard.
Hey guys- my first post here. It seems that INFY closed at 5350 at BSE yesterday, while the current price is $82 here. Wouldn't it mean that the fair price here should be: 5300/(2*42.5) = $63 (2 ADRs = 1 share * exchange rate). I know arbitrage may not be possible here, but if there is a downward potential of $20 ($82-$63), I'd rather sell now and buy back at lower prices though I know this pony will do great long term. Any advice?
