I've emailed IR about the share count and will post the reply.
For calculating the per share loss they used:
Weighted average common shares outstanding-diluted 168,075,012
I've been using 189 million in all my calculations ... Yahoo uses 188.57 million. It changes the per share number by about 5-6 cents. You put that change with the restatement of Q1 (raised Q1 by 6 cents per share ... I think) ... and suddenly the results get a lot closer to the estimates.
We currently have 188,607,514 as of 8.7.13. The number you referred to is used for EPS calculations on a weighted average.
Well that doesn't clear anything up. I didn't think the share count changed ... so to me the weighted average would be that everyday had 189 M shares, so Day1 x 189 + Day2 x 189 + ... Day90 x 189. All divided by 90 days ... that should be 189 M.
Obviously I missed the share count change during the Q2.
