I am betting small chance(1 in 4?) we might get news before NYC meeting. Lots of hoopla last year but no follow-through(so far). Maybe Kirk's lack of activity really does mean something is cooking. Time will tell. At least someone came in and bought a few when it was starting to look ugly this AM. Flat on a day like today was an achievement.
If anyone would have bet me at last year's NYC meeting that ZIOP would be sub $5 a year later, I would have given them long odds. What an unexpected year we have had. Essentially silence from management and endless shorting from the nay-sayers. Not a good combination to instill confidence.
Well, hopefully one day Kirk will launch his long heralded counter-offensive. Where the heck has the (other) Captain Kirk been lately. I miss him yelling(typing loudly) "LOAD!"
Kirk's people are in place. This year has brought ZIOP a new CFO, a new CSO plus a big time operational hire. Spring training is over-----it is time to put these expensive players onto the field to see what they can do.
Bottom line: hundreds of millions of dollars of capital have been raised. Share count has risen pretty dramatically in the last 4 years. Virtually all investors are now underwater from these offerings. It is time to stop talking and start doing.
