B-4 you buy this KNDI stock look at the electric cars they make. They are more like golf carts.
They have 6 lead batteries and reach 25 MPH and are not legal on the highway. They are a 10,000 dollar golf cart, no more or less. This is not a commuting vehice.Type in Kandi electric car on Google image and take a look at what they build. The smart car is huge in comparison. They sell them in Oklahoma for 10,000 dollars. KNDI is no Tesla.
Your google search doesn't show the electric car that was approved by the government. The car that was approved is the JL7001BEV. The cars shown on your google search are very much like a smart car. (Kandi's older recreational vehicle.) The JL7001BEV is much more like a Toyota Prius C, Ford Fiesta, Chevy Aveo, ect... It is a small 4 door hatchback (5 door technically) The street are more narrow and crowded in China. They drive mostly very small cars in China.
Do a google image search for JL7001BEV. It is the white car with 3 different wheel options.
Actually, they're very similar to the Smart Car in overall dimensions, wheel base, etc. A bit smaller and lighter. Max speed can be re-programmed to 35 mph up to 40, and do you really want to take a smart car on the highway? Way better than a golf cart, and can be had at a start price of 2/3 of a smart car. It's definitely not a Tesla, and is targeting a very different market.
