    Legitimate lawsuit question - INSP

Now down about 80 grand on INSP in last 6 months, I recently advised another poster not to get involved with these law firms going after the company itself. However, going after the security firms that make their money off hyping stocks like INSP, PALM, etc., well that would seem a legitimate use of lawyers - don't you think...

So, I have a question. Notice this individual suit made by some east coast doctor who lost 500 grand ref news release today). He apparently found a lawfirm that rightfully sued the securities analyst that lead the this investor into buying INSP. Merril ended up settling out of court for 500 grand on that case. So, my question is: If you bought INSP based on news releases from security firm analysts recommendations but not a paying customer directly to that security firm, would you still have a case against the security firm?
