I know a sales guy from EMC. During the hay days of the internet start ups and money flooding in, those guys were making a fortune. Because of that sale's management was convinced the guys were good sales people, when they were really order takers.
Some would get clients drunk at strip bars, then pull out the contract in the hotel lobby when the guy is tanked. Or the next morning when he's hung over and loaded with guilt.
That doesn't work anymore and they're finally figuring that out.
Only a mick would sell emc at 96. And then reload in the thirties and forties. And the finally learn his fucking lesson and sell in high teens. But the sales force is aggressive exjocks. HUH? I remember reading articles by the CEO(who has now fled the US)about success attributible to exjock knuckleheads.
