Yeah, generally speaking, over the entire history of this thing it has been in the shadow of supply (selling). If ever there was going to be a short squeeze, the coming weeks would seem like a good time for it. If it can consolidate in a trading range for awhile and then put in a sign-of-strength that could kick things off.
You know it wasn't that long ago and the pundits were all yapping about how upbeat the coming holiday buying would be for retail. That's why I don't pay much attention to the media; in a bull all the news is good news and in a bear all the news is bad news. Come the Friday after Turkey day it could be a completely different picture again.
