Radioshack already sells skullcandy headphones, the article just says with Radioshack's new college bookstore deal it COULD boost sales, but since they also sells Beats and numerous other headphones the article is a non-issue for SKUL.
Obviously placing Skullcandy headphones at thousands of college bookstores will boost sales. That's a no-brainer. The complaint about multiple brands being on display somehow neutralizing the additional sales doesn't make sense to me. What electronics store ever sold only one brand of headphones??
I see it as a net positive as that age group is more in line with SKUL target demo. Also, the SKUL price range is more in line with "starving students" budgets in comparison with Dre and SOL mentioned. I know I could afford a pair of SKUL buds when I was in college, but not a pair of Beats. Just saying. Besides disposable ear buds will do well in college book stores (Ink'd and Smokin buds)...
SKUL will now be sold in 4000 more store fronts by the end of the year. This will have zero impact on SKUL whatsoever. SKUL will surely go bankrupt by the end of the year from all the added sales. Haha right.
