Hey, squeezetracker. You are the wrong one here. $60? You will never see that price for this loser.

Nobody likes Tempur bed any more. That is why they had to buy lower margin, traditional Sealy. A few years ago, Tempur was eating Sealy's lunch everywhere. No more. It was a fad. Now, there are more "fancy" and "high tech" beds, making Tempur look like your grandmother's bed. You can close your eyes and keep saying "$60" but the stock will go down. Way down, as they keep lowering the future earnings guidance. Having said all that, thank you for giving your money for the good of mankind. Unselfish act should be recognized after all.

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

    • Have a read through our replies... and thrilled to be riding this again with a 20% move already on round 7.

Do note that we qualified our PT of $60 by EOY to be by the day after the Dec Q CC, and now we have einhorn pushing the stock as the sector consolidator.

So where are all the short dweebs who made complete jackassshes out of themselves here on both dips to $38. LOL

But do some work on some of our other serious allocations too...the hits just keep on coming!

    • I was clearly off on buying this before the butch guidance update, but not about anything else.

Did you listen to the conference call? As the second analyst on the call asked management, ~how do you go from guidance in May to such a change over the next 6 weeks and then to reducing guidance as you did?

Their answers were lucid, and I have recapped them here for the lazy and or otherwise incapable of thinking through what happened here (industry wide lull, slower rollout of both new product rollouts, pulled ads pending biggest ever ad program for 2H now that the new lineup is on the showroom floors, etc.

As for TPX products a fad? You have obviously NEVER slept on one and yours is one clueless perspective. Last weekend we took our first three TPX mattresses (between 3 and 6 years old) up to the chalet in Tahoe. There was nothing wrong with any of them, but the ones at the lake (one a 12 year old Stearns and Foster my wife moved to the guest room there) were tired and now we'll all sleep better up there. All three have been replaced in our LA home with new, softer top mattresses from TPX. Just a week in, my wife loves our new Cloud Luxe Breeze. It is substantially softer than the Ca King Rhapsody it replaced in our room she always thought that was too firm for her.

Here's what you fail to grip. TPX customers are customers and "recommenders" for life. See, there really is something to ultra comfortable rest... my parents are almost 80 now -- they have slept on theirs for 6 years now and my dad's bad shoulder (he broke his collar bone 12 years ago) does not bother him on his Rhapsody.

Excluding the super luxury custom hand made beds costing 4x more than the Cloud Luxe line,TPX now controls the world's best brands high to mid range, and the future will be very bright for the company, starting last month now that the new lineup is on the floor. We'll see $60 again here, likely before EOY.

So you guys short away -- but it is time to buy, not sell this.

      • Love this s head -- he is seemingly opposite all of our key spec allocations ttm... all of which have gone our way within compressed timeframes.

See GMCR, TPX and HLF calls as examples of what happens when morons buy puts being written by the guys getting long after bug shakeouts/washouts like TPX had yesterday. TPX is now in UPOD land friends... a brilliant upside spec while the idiots here call for a return to the teens and $20s. ROFL
