Nice find. This shows you how valuable spectrum has become. Every wireless provider is scramble to add spectrum in all markets because of the massive amounts of data smartphones consume. AT&T did 50 spectrum deals in 2012. This deal you mentioned was valued at triple what ATNI paid just 2 years ago because the value of the spectrum has gone up tremendously (def not because their wireless ops are doing well).
Sprint and DISH are battling it out for CLWR which has a price to book value of almost 2.5. CLWR owns about $16 billion worth of spectrum based on the latest offer from Sprint. Compare this to NiHD which owns about $10 billion worth of spectrum in addition to $2 billion worth of towers. NiHD trades at less than half book value. It should be worth $30 just on its spectrum and tower assets.
