    why buy MXIM now when it's TOO EXPENSIVE?

    MXIM is getting too expensive.
    On a bad week, it will dip back to the $30's range again.
    The forecast for semiconductor is cut for 2007.

    Why buy MXIM now when you can likely buy it later for $30?

    • You think MXIM is expensive then take a look at
      SLAB! Don't be fooled by that current PE. It was
      dramatically lowered by a one-time sale of their
      Wireless Division. Without that sale the P/E is about
      55:1. OK they $12/share in cash. Back the cash out
      and you're still in the mid 30's as a P/E multiple.
      So...there's at least one stock that's more expensive
      than MXIM. All things considered I'd say MXIM isn't that
      bad. -RW
