Lots of you guys were buying at $7.50. Why all the selling today?

    • I am not selling, and I am waiting to buy @ $7.

      Sentiment: Hold

    • Because cheapskates like me won't buy in until the really low 7's. When it does it will be time to back up the truck and load up. Beep Beep- Beep- Beep. Hold until the exdate date and then dump it starting the cycle all over again. Until then why hold a huge share of this stock and expose yourself to a real serious loss?

    • Several firms that follow either lowered or "reaffirmed" their rating, but their target price is lower than the current price.

For example. Keefe, Bruyette & Woods reaffirmed "market perform" for NYMT but have a target price of $7.

Zack lowered NYMT from neutral to underperform not long ago and has a $7.10 price target.

There are other out there, but there seems to be a negative bias. Hopefully, it won't last long. The dividend should make up for it in the meantime.

    • The momentum players are and have been leaving the market,to what sector who knows? With this in mind how much of the sell off is related to margin calls?I thought about funding my Roth right after the last offering but did`nt .It seems that the selloff in the bio`s are triggering the margin calls,INHO I guess Ill wait till IBB turns around then fund my Roth with NYMT.

    • Don't know, I bought @7.49 and I was thrilled. Of course I wish I got in @7.30 or less, but I am realistic, not overly greedy. And since I do not need the money soon for anything, and they do not go belly up or cut the diidend too much, it is better then the bank cd of about 1 percent for a year or two. The dividend I will get this April is about 31/2%, not too shabby for a quarter return and instant liquidity. If anyone has a better idea, please share it.
