After hours fall... down $1.05 from close right now. Volume ~30000 shares
I usually don't care much about small moves after hours, but this move is quite lower on fairly significant volume. Anyone hear anything on the news wires? Did the CEO say something negative in the CNBC interview. I didn't have a chance to see it.
You now know why NPSP drop on big volume. A 7.4mm secondary, 12% dilution to existing owners. Well received SPO's result in a pop the day after. This SPO, a 11% decline this AM. Not a good sign of things to come. Cramer impact, on home gamers only, also contributing. Big question, will the shorts pile on? Friday is usually a big raid day for them
The market is very volatile. This affects NPSP and most stocks, especially those with the highest Beta. The NPSP slide from a high of $ 35.02 on October 8, to $ 27.77 low on October 9, a 7.78% partial rebound today, followed by a 3.45% pullback in after hours is ample evidence. Waiting it out on the sidelines is one alternative, buying when the stock declines to $ 25- $ 27, and selling $ 33.65- $ 35, can be remunerative. You will probably have several opportunities over the next six weeks. Options trading is another alternative that is a bit more complex, but lucrative.
No, Cramer wanted people to take profits in the smaller biopharms the ones under 10 bil. ...says they are too at effect of FDA whims....I say not all small biopharms created equal. I will re- evaluate
isis, acadia, Insy,npsp all.
