Wanted to reply to your last post but can't seem to find it.
I agree with your physical description of "Boulderhead" but he was no "henchman."
I worked with Boulderhead closely on several occasions. And although he had a reputation of being intimidating I never found him to be. I found him to be polite and approachable. Probably the only senior leader in the business that fit that description. He actually listened and I thought he knew the business well too.
I'm actually more worried about the leader (henchman) that replaces him. I wonder when that'll get announced. I guess this level of uncertainty is just part of life at D&B. The only things certain here are the revolving door and the beatings.
Well clearly, I was flagged by the DNB police. Sorry, but both gents were inept.(so many examples it is scary) The only and I mean the only reason henchman was ever promoted was because of the blind loyalty his boss had for him. Not one team he managed was inspired by the leadership. Only fear was used as motivation.
I have been out from beneath for sometime now, but my disdain for that kind of leadership remains thus my posts. I now enjoy my bike rental business in Coronado. No daily forecasts, no rev rec on New Year's Eve, and most importantly no idiots to work for. Like I said in my original post, Ding #$%$ the Nimrods are gone. If only they would stop by for a rental......I smell broken chain.
