And all of it in sympathy with MIB being down. (Only .7 percent, as opposed to the 1.9 percent MMs here are printing it as of now.) In fact, I would suspect E was among the top performers on the MIB today.
In fact, on Monday, another poor day in Europe, E came very close to making an absolute breakout to the upside, almost pushing to its highest level in two months intraday.
We'll have to see what occurs. But there have been numerous stories that Monti supporters are going to do very well across the board in Italian by-elections this weekend - the complete opposite from what may occur in France.
There is also talk that Monti will become one of the new Top Two in Europe - Merkel and Monti, Together at Last, with Hollande, if he's elected, the odd man out.
That could easily mean European investors will start favoring Italy over France again. China certainly is! And so is Russia.
