Welcome back everyone.
Cramer was yapping about the UA christmas and that everykid got it for xmas, yet all I saw at the malls, airports, Las Vegas etc, were surfer/skater type of clothing and sweatshirts. I went to see the Blue man group and while waiting , saw a totla of 3 UA products on people, but tons of Volcom, Hurley etc..Saw shitloads of Heeleys though!!! wow.
Im not expecting a blow out qtr, Im sure they will beat by a penny. This is not normally a strong qtr for them..3 weeks till showdown
Actually, you are knocking UARM but you don't have to apologize for it. Everything you say is correct, but that doesn't mean you are going to be on the right side of this investment. Paying $11.99 for a shirt that would cost $40+ is exactly what makes you a sensible person, and what will pay for your kids' college tuition. However, you're missing the fact that UARM isn't really selling clothes; rather it's selling an image. Starbucks doesn't sell coffee, it sells a brand and a culture. Plenty of people are willing to fork up the money for that image. Besides, they back up the image with quality products.
By the way, Walmart may make things affordable for many people, but it's a sh___y company that:
1. pays people meager wages:
2. doesn't provide health insurance to the majority of it's employee's so the state governments have to suck it up:
3. falsely advertises that they support American industry:
4. hires illegal immigrants:
5. denies it's employees lunch breaks:
Personally, I would have my kids play in the same cotton stuff that served me well growing up than to support Walmart.
you have to read this..from a daytraders log..back in 2000, nas at 3500 or so..FDRY at 80, JDSU at 89, etc..amazing, just amazing what prices were back then..when you have a few moments go through, read the comments when the market was crashing..now were in a very bull market,,quite the opposite now
Sweet Bro! Was it on rollback! What a bargain! Attention bluelight shoppers, we have thunder garmer workout suits on sale in apperal. Did you grab some mountain lightning, or sams choice cola while you were at it? Maybe some 4 stripe addidas? The fake jordans? Hey, nothing wrong with walmart. The sad thing is they will be selling uarm in 5 years when the brand isnt cool anymore and nobody wants it.
