    Thank you George Bush!

Thank you George Bush for protecting us from any more Muslim terrorist attacks since 9/11/2001. Unfortunately since your successor has become commander-in-chief, we've suffered another Muslim terrorist attack in Fort Hood Texas. Obama's response? "Let's not rush to judgement."

Never forget what Obama had said in his book Audacity of Hope, "I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction."

I wonder at times what side he's on.

Maybe we should have an investigation into mistreatment of Muslim enemies in the Military, like we are doing with the CIA.

    • “Former President George W. Bush and his wife Laura secretly visited Fort Hood last night and spent “considerable time” consoling those who were wounded in Thursday’s shooting spree, Fox News has learned.

The Bushes entered and departed the sprawling military facility in secret, having told the base commander they did not want press coverage of their visit, a source told Fox News.

The couple was described as “deeply concerned” about military families on Fort Hood after Army Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan allegedly opened fire on soldiers and civilians, killing 13 and wounding 38.

The Bushes, who have a 1,600-acre property known as Prairie Chapel Ranch less than 30 miles from Fort Hood in central Texas, spent between one and two hours visiting the wounded and their families.”

      Tremendous class.

    • Of course he will stand by the Muslims, he is one! And he has stated on many occasions that we are a Muslim nation.

But do not despair, Americans will neuter him in 2010, then finally get rid of him in 2012. He will go down as the biggest aberration in this nation's history - an experiment gone bad.

    • (AP): Barack Obama cautioned a stunned public on Friday against drawing quick conclusions on a shooting rampage by an officer at a Texas military base that killed 13 people.

The president made the comments as the commander of Fort Hood, the US’s largest base for deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, quoted witnesses as saying the suspected gunman, Major Nidal Malik Hasan, shouted the Muslim declaration “Allahu Akbar” – God is great – as he opened fire. Speaking at the White House, Mr Obama said: “We don’t know all the answers yet, and I would caution against jumping to conclusions until we have all the facts. For all we know, he may have been a victim of right wing attacks on his religion, thus making his actions totally understandable.”

      • In his first week as President, Obama cancelled the military tribunal for the mastermind of the USS Cole terrorist attack. The terrorist admitted it, but Obama cancelled his tribunal anyway. He called the families of the victums to the White House to tell them in person. So Obama let a known mastermind terrorist off the hook, in one of his first act as President. Who's side is he on?

It is NEVER understandable for an American to kill another American, unless in defense of life or limb. Killing for comments is unacceptable, and for any President to act like it is, that's not acceptable either.

Mainstream media will make this radical killer out to be a victum who should get everyone's pity & "understanding". While 13 of America's bravest are now dead. My "understanding" goes to the families of the dead. Not to this radical killer.

      • Why does it not surprise me that Republicans would try to exploit this tragedy for petty partisan political purposes?

Absolutely despicable, shameful, disgraceful behavior. This is a new low.

My heart and prayers go out to the families and friends of the fallen.
