ISIL revenue for 2011 ~ 761 million. Estimated revenue for 2012 will be 620 million. Drop approx 18.5% y-on-y. Weakening PC market not the only cause, but lossing market shares to competitors & lack of technology breakthrough are the key points. ISIL strength in analog and power management. There are manufactured & assembled in old oracle device packages. It's a risk. ISIL technical development team should put more efforts in MEMS & Wafer Level CSP devices. Its major customers such as Sony, Panasonic, RIM are not in good shape. ISIL should aggresively approach Apple & Samsung in order to have breakthrough in revenue and growth. However, these 2 are wireless & RF giant manufacturers which ISIL was not familiar in. In semiconductor world, technology breakthrough is the key to survival. There are lots of Steve Jobs in United States. Hopefully one of them in ISIL.
Well there are definitely NO Steve Jobs' running ISIL. Dave Bell should retire. He will fail at reviving ISIL. Several VP's should be replaced as well. The best Bell can do is sell the company. If I was on the Board his head would be on the chopping block.
