Walmart desperately needs to get into small community locations. My gut tells me Walmart is not going to let RAD slip away from grasp. Walmart could eliminate the debt as an appetizer....Walmart will be looking at the potential cash flow plus with Walmarts scale things like SG&A as well as prices offered by suppliers would plummet likely doubling the potential profit. I predict things will be moving along quickly now that RAD is profitable.
Also I think WAGS and CVS wilL pounce before they allow RAD to heal and they will overpay a la $7+ per share to prevent Walmart having instant access to major markets like LA and NYC. RAD is the last major drugstore real estate asset in the USA..that adds a couple of dollars premium to any buyout price at least.
