Longs I do hope you cashed in, you can almost feel the fear as reality sets in. As the trends in the past have reflected they will now begin coming back to earth. When WAG did the miscue with Express Scripts it breathed temporary life, but if you look at activity of insiders cashing in their chips you really had to know it was over, be honest you really do not believe that the Rad managment could turn around this company. I heard Sammons well over 10 years ago talk about the great turnaround and thats when the stock was at around 14. This is the bad news bears and this group is about as clueless as any board I have ever heard of.
The reality is that the future looks very bright. Thirty million new healthcare subscribers to hit the system in the next year or so, aging population demographic is a huge plus, walkin clinics, refinancing of debt at low single digit rates, reward incentives, closing unprofitable stores and modernizing successful ones and two quarters of PROFITIBILTY. It certainly is prudent to be cautious but stop looking in the rear view mirror.
What panic? Rite Aid sp barely down at all today. RAD's going to $5 short term within one year will be over $10. They are focused and making all the right moves. Must be more panic with WAG they went down today bad!
