Muddy Waters fakes a scene in a report using photographs their DGW report
Some people have been scammed by Muddy Waters:
"During our three tours of the factory, we witnessed minimal production activity. There was much work in progress laid out on display, but few workers and tools around it, and little noise or material movement."
If Muddy Waters visited the facilities three times as they claim why are there no photographs of the inside or outside of the plant?
p.14: "Muddy Waters photographed two competitors’ operations."
The photographs show hardly any workers in the competitors factories and no photopgraphs from the DGW plant.
Who are the competitors?
Did they pay Muddy Waters in an attempt to bash DGW?
while i agree with DR tim (i think thats the posters name) whatever the outcome the negative press will impact the stock price for along time. HOWEVER, if vindicated in the long run investors will profit from this folly.
out of curiousity did any of you read the MW terms and conditions of reading their report?
You guys just don't get it. It's irrelevant if it's true or not if you own the stock. Perception is reality with the market and even if the report is "fake", it doesn't matter, the stock is gonna get pounded. You're getting personally attached to a stock because you think they haven't done anything wrong and you're going to sink with the ship. Best case is nothing more comes out and it bounces around these levels. Worse case is MW was accurate and the SEC ends up delisting the company. Either way, you lose.
