We have been in a cyclical bull market within a secular bear market. The cyclical bull market will end, but not now. We are currently only in a minor correction. IMO the correction at most lasts until later this month, and then ushers in an eoy rally, extending on at least into early next year. Was impressed with rally on the Averages back from lows this afternoon, with close for only minor losses. This indicates lots of buyers ready to buy those dips, and tends to limit downside in current correction.
The prospect of eventual tightening of interest rates should not be a concern at this time. About the most that would happen in 2004 is one small rate hike. A small rate rise would actually be bullish for stocks, as this would cause money to come out of bonds, and be available for investment in stocks. Interest rates won't be a problem before sometime in 2005, if that soon.
    Don't worry, be happy. Snug
