I'm also searching the web to find something about the shareholders of medmark, but found nothing so far. Maybe because I don't really know where to look due to the fact that I'm a beginner investor. Or maybe nothing special happend. Say the shareholders got screwed (sorry for the bad language), wouldn't it then be very easy to find something about the case?
To bad yahoo finance doesn't keep track of the company's that don't trade anymore. Would love to take a look on the medmark messageboard. :D
The sharegholders got $3.80 per share. You need to look at the value of the company and the premium over. Their value seems a lot higher but given the fight with Express Scrtipts this could have a larger premium, assuming this happens.
This link is about drugstore.com not medmark, isn't it?
We are in a worse position because we are trading pink. And then its easier to mess with shareholders I guess. But if a buyout occurs we are in a better position because our premium will be bigger. That's the risk we take I guess. $1.20 like steve said would be very nice.
Its about this guy that was involved in the aquisition of medmark by walgreens.
"CHRIS E. ABBINANTE is a partner in the firm’s Chicago office. His principal areas of practice are mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital investments, capital markets transactions, and strategic/corporate counseling."
Medmark/walgreens is the fourth nunder recent transactions.
Maybe somebody could send this guy an email or call him for aditional information?
