we are in the roundy's market and shop at a store of theirs. The competition in the Milwaukee area is brutal and another company(Meijer) is comming to the area. Years ago we had a chain(kohls) that dominated the market. They no longer exist as a grocery.
RNDY should have been paying more attention, rather then trying to over fill your pockets and putting customers last. Roundys, you didn't build it, your loyal customers did. Without them you will have nothing. Real simple. No customers, no business, no business, no Roundy's. Doesn't get any simpler than that, does it chairman Bob?
Never say never. That's what both Kohl's and Sentry said. 20 years ago if you said Kohl's Grocery stores were going to go out of business. You would have been laughed at! Woman shoppers loved their Kohls foods. Max Kohl built up one hell of a business and the workers both stores and warehouse thought the had jobs for life. Remember mini-pricing before the pick and save concept? competition, mainly P/S put them out of business.
