why would the company even bother with a paltry $70 million raise when they were lining up $1.5 billion in funding from domestic sources?
Whatever the case maybe, they must have some serious spending/expansion ahead. Those equity underwriters probably knew this was coming, so they riding on leverage deal now. HOGS will be a good long term bet for sure.
I was just curious what an everyday consumer over there thinks of their product. I can compare hormel with Smithfield here but have no first hand knowledge of how their products compare to the competition
