I am really surprised no one has responded to this post. It could be the single most important post in the history of this company other than the one that says they are in with Lockeed somehow or declaring bankruptcy because of Lockeed.
Its still a membrane and can't violate the laws of thermodynamics so considerable energy is still needed to desalt seawater. In addition, there is a long way between lab tests and real-world commercial applications. Nothing to get excited about. Give it a few years.
