The recent news of the new recycling facility is very exciting. The byproduct revenue will grow dramatically with each recycling facility they open. Nice balance sheet, cheap debt and lots of credit available. The one analyst has earnings of .76 for 2012 and .94 for 2013. So we are trading at $4?? They said they have ballpark .10 of carbon credits waiting to be sold at a better price. They could have booked it in 1st qtr but are waiting for better price. Last year was about $1m or so of carbon credits and now they will have more credits to sell. So I'm guessing but lets say they could have .25-.30 in just carbon credits. The analyst might not be too far off at .76 for this year. I kind of thought it might be a .40-.50 year but now I'm hoping for more. I can't see it going too much lower but I didn't think we would get to $4. Have a nice day.
I don't know. They could have sold some in 2010 but I can't remember hearing anything back then. It was significant in 2011 but with some CA legislation it could get much better. Who knows. Have a nice day.
thanks for the update snds. I too was a little early in the 4.30-4.50 range. AGree that the carbon credits are everything.
Basically the thinking is, the more recycling centers they open and operate, get more product and get more carbon credits to sell. All profit.
I don't know too much about the carbon credit market, but I hope they sell when the price goes back up. I wonder if it is safe to say they they get, approximately, .07-.10 per qtr in carbon credits, assuming they sell them.
