Will see if it carries through on monday but if you have one of the biggest environmental accidents in history and eei is not getting contract on this - then this company never will- we shall see. IF bp really cared they would be hiring these guys right away - even if its for public relations but these guys are the worse - the gov't should make sure they get every penny out of BP
CLH gets the majority of the work from BP. i don't think it's likely that BP directly hire a small firm like EEI - the scope of the work is too big at this point, so it hires a much larger firm like CLH. I think it's probable that EEI will play a role at some point, either as a sub-contractor to CLH and/or later on after the flow stops and there's a more manageable workload.
This is the largest environmental disaster in us history — environmental stocks should be hitting 52 week highs based on the next 20 years of work just based on this spill alone — but i think there's the thought that this disaster will either go away or fix itself
