    Shorts covering today ...

and where are they? ... Back in October they had taken over this board. If they were smart (some of them were and they had this going under 4) and took their profits then they might want to go out and buy a vacation house in beautiful AZ (temperature yesterday 71). I have my license and would be happy to show you around (no foul language though).

    • Stock is trading for just under book value; only builds new homes in the most desirable U.S. markets. Their homes in Northern CA are now SOLD OUT. They will be beginning a new community of 1,400 homes in Rohnert Park, CA - just north of San Francisco this year.

The kicker: because they are a Canadian company, they only report earnings twice a year. The next earnings announcement is in mid- February. None of the activity of the last 6 months is in the stock. It is completely under the radar. Just like MDC's trading yesterday and today, this one is gonna pop.

See this article on BRP from Barron's last summer:

    • Still glad I'm out and enjoying the ride through RPM and LOW and AWK.

If it falls back into lets say the 5's I'll be back.

I do wish the longs luck.

And I'm still scared of what the president may do to prop up housing before the election that we'll all literally be paying years for just so he can get re-elected.

      We've seen this movie before.

I never could get a sell to execute at 8.25. ANd frankly I expected more of a bounce today in an up market and after jobs report.

    • This up trend looks real. Had people look at our house yesterday and 3 of the homes they were going to look at are sold. They placed an offer on ours and I countered back at full price. Buyers are loosing control!
