I have to say, I was impressed. Lots of good and proactive ideas. Good strategy, on paper at least, to go after the FDA in their soft underbelly, the orphans of the drug discovery world. Like Mary Poppins, Varian will walk in their and get them to fund our studies. I like it. Whats not to like? Xmet will get me back the 70% I'm underwater. I'm actually beginning to believe it. The financing sure sounds like a very smart move, for a big payoff, or bust, either way, this stock can't but go up from here, or so my new faith says, so see you all, lets hope, at $50. Nina Panty was right all along! Am I dreaming again? Drats! I can never be sure if this is another pipe dream, well fashioned no doubt. I choose to believe, and I'm going to rub my red slippers together, and if we all pray, well okay lets higher powers out of it, lets all send some good thoughts out to Varian, and thank him for at least a reasonably clear vision.
I agree with you. If we can believe what he said, that they could partner some stuff right now but want to bring it along themselves until they can start a bidding war, then that's very acceptable. I wish they'd fully explained this when they announced the secondary. Maybe the stock wouldn't have cratered. And the Baker siblings took a third of it with their guy on the board and privy to any info there might be. We'll see.
the proof is still in the pudding with him.....so far has pretty much followed Engle in saying they had enough money...then went and diluted.......so until I see different from him I can't say he is any better than the CEO we had
