    First it's 11,000 dead pigs, now it's 1000 ducks

I don't think they wrap themselves in plastic. Poor Infn, his food source is being depleted daily. No Peking Duck for you.

    • Hopefully Shelly receives some money posting here.
Otherwise, it's difficult to understand his/her work by Green Peace about the animals health at the very moment America settling forces with China through the conflict between both Koreas that could potentially affect a "few more ducks and pigs".

Shelly: wishing you the best money by posting only here.

      • This may sound bizarre, but I think this new strain is related to the dumping of diseased pigs and ducks. These animals were in the river that provides drinking water, and also had how many
people to retrieve these dead carcasses. China will never say there is now human to human transmission of the virus but I just read an article, that a Taiwanese businessman returning to Taiwan
from China is in critical condition in Taiwan. This was how the Sars virus spread .25% of the reported cases have died. This from another article about the possibility of pandemic.

' The study builds on work led by Yoshihiro Kawaoka at the University of Wisconsin-Madison that showed how H5N1 could become highly transmissible if its hemagglutinin gene is mutated and mixed with those of the H1N1 virus that sparked the 2009 swine flu pandemic. As a follow-up, the MRC-led team plans to study the same binding properties of the current H7N9 virus reported in China, John Skehel, one of the study authors in London, said in a phone interview.

“The preference of the transmissible mutant for binding to human versus avian receptors, and the structural manner by which it binds them, are highly characteristic of pandemic viruses,” the researchers said in the published paper.

They should have started screening at airports, but of course they probably haven't. Idiots.'

    • Why are you dumping your refuse in China??
