after reading the latest sa article and the comments I can see that people are missing the big picture, or have they just been keeping silent. Do you wonder since I've been on this board (way too long most will say), why
did I buy after being the biggest detractor of this company? Give it a shot, put your guess.
Is the big picture simply that this Stock is cheap? Xinyuan appears cheap by any metric you use to judge a stock (i.e. Price/Earnings, Dividend, Stock Buyback, Relative Graham Value, Earning's Growth, Insider Ownership, Private Equity Investment, etc).
Or is the big picture that Chinese Real Estate prices aren't crashing like the consensus thought they would? I can point to SFUN earning's release yesterday as an example.
Does it really matter that much to you if we care or want to know why your here.
There are thousands of boards and thousands of comments on them and they all basically same one of two things, Pump / Dump nobody cares - If you want information , its not here but in the financials , capital , P/E , spread , bottom line , business model , technicals , but it surely isn't here - and if this is where you get your investment picks , experience then your in serious trouble IMO.
This and 99.999% of all boards are just Bull #$%$ comments tit - tat game players and a bunch of wishful thinkers that if short want the stock to drop and if long want the stock to go up and maybe a few that hold for divvy or they don't even know themselves why.
Well Infn, you too are entitled to your opinion of me or anything else, but why don't you tell me why am I dumber than a bag of rocks? And what in your opinion is the bigger picture? So far, I haven't read one comment even getting close to what I think the bigger picture is. You were on this board the whole time I've been here, and should know as well as I, ever burp and fart of this company. I was going to say every 'nuance', but I didn't want you running for a dictionary.
Not guessing.. just thoughts..
If the author of the sa article is long XIN then that would make me a jesus.
Why the article? And why now? Right now?
In the big picture someone wants my shares.. cheap. but I aint selling. Maybe that #$%$ someone off, maybe not..
The big picture is closer than people can see..
Difficult to know at times what the blogger intended, but as a reader, he lost me when he said he had been a long for 3 years, and then wants you to consider the number of frauds in the China space.
Now the frauds started being exposed before 3 years ago, yet he felt no trepidation on buying and
holding a China stock listed on a US exchange. Imo his convictions seemed to have more to do with whether he can get one of these on a half price sale, lol. I wouldn't say that if he had sold because maybe all the other factors he listed brought him to that final conclusion.
I also think one point he makes is completely valid, and that's their lack of letting the US markets where they are listed, know the information they'll put on their Chinese site, when the stock isn't listed in Asia.
