If you guys are not trading TNA you are missing easy $$$
I started trading this a little over $39 nad let you guys know what was working for me and that was when it was trading at $50. It's now 64+ and headed for the 70+ area. Might even get there before the end of the month.. GLTA
How do you trade it? What do you use for entry and exit? What do you use to hedge or protect? Options? I have always wanted to but wanted to use a short strategy like shorting tza rather than hold a decaying long in tna. I duno but any thoughts are greatly appreciated and congrats on having a good year thats awsome!
For shorting: Look at the historicals of TNA when the PPS reaches 80%-90% (I like 85%)overbought and the SMA is moving down AND there is a crossover of %K over %D on Stochastics. Set your slow Stochastics to a 14 minute Period and Smooth it to 7 minutes. Set Fast @ %K(14), %D(14/18)
Shorting: You are IN @ the crossover of BOTH slow and fast have to wait for slow). You are OUT @ reverse crossover.
Reverse the above for going long. You are doing this on live streaming minute chart. Don't need IWM.
I have to admit you did tell us all about this awhile ago, but when you originally presented it you were trading it day by day and I could work out how you were getting your buy and sell signals. Now, it looks like you just rode the Russell 2000 on a nice bull run. So, very nice call. When I saw this I almost jumped on some IWM calls, but I want to see how next year opens up and I want to get through my MREIT and MLP calls before jumping to the general market, but from what I am hearing the Russell 2000 usually performs well when the economy starts to turn. So, I might just be there with you soon enough. Meanwhile, I keep trading my MREIT and MLP's quarter to quarter and it is working pretty well for me right now. However, you have made me very aware of this opportunity.
