Does anyone think if you bought 1000 Feb 65 contracts, that you would be able to unload them for $7.00 a contract if the price of EVEP hit $72.00? Who would you sell them all to? Would the MM buy your 1000 contracts for $7.00 a piece? It seems for a stock that trades 200K shares a day would not be able to absorb options contracts worth 1M shares in one day without something giving.
We've discussed this same point at length on this board. You are getting the proverbial cart B4 the horse with your question. In your question you state that someone bought 1000 65Calls.
Your question should be , "Will anyone sell me 1000 Calls?" if so, (and there is the big IF) then do they have an obligation to deliver the shares to me at $65.00. The answer is yes. Will you be able to sell your Calls at bid? Maybe. Will you be able to exercise your Calls at the 65 Strike...Yes!
