I am buying calls for UAN. Historically Apr 2 would be the overall cycle low point, with today (28 Mar) being the low for the past year. Sell at either EX - 2, or EX-10. Next estimated EX is May 3.
UAN is in the agriculture business and food should continue to be popular, even in downturns. They have just completed a major facility for production increase, and are estimating an increase of about 25% in 2013 dividends ($2.15 - 2.45 for the year).
Couple of negatives, namely, it is a fairly new company with short history, and low trading volumes.
I'm in, Chart looks good,Dividends were decreasing but should reverse with new capacity. This is why I love this MB,the sharing of trade ideas allowing me to diversify into stocks that were not on my radar.
Dividends were never really "decreasing"....sure the value for last year was less than the year before but they also had a scheduled plant shut down for maintenance that reduced their income in the fourth quarter (hence the lower dividend). Forecast for this upcoming year is already for higher than the year before.
