Remember tomorrow, Friday the 12th of April, is EX-10, the entry date for PSEC. Under 11.00 will probably not last long. Last period was a couple months at the end of last year, before that, Aug of last year.
I am a buyer, IF GLAD/3% is met.
I am out this AM @ 10.92 on PSEC. I entered @ an avg of 10.80 this month and was happy to get out with my 5,000 shares @ 10.92 especially after their swoon to 10.35 earlier this month, when the BDCs sold off. I still think we might have some legs to X-1, the 25th, but the last few quarters has shown the Open of X-3(this morning) to be right at the highs for the month.
I wish all of you well. I have removed PSEC from the SS as most know and will continue with those stocks producing historical win rates of 80% or better, namely:
You will note excellent gains in all currently active Glad stocks from their entries, this month, namely:
I do not expect any of the Cornerstone stocks to be eligible for trade until later this week as they all have some hurdles, in highs, to exceed today, to do so, and then to retreat to the close. It is possible today, but more likely Wed to Fri.
I wish you all much happiness and success in your trading. I believe more in the Glad model, than ever, as a consistent monthly producer of 25-30% annualized gains.
I just got online. I'm trying to sell my options but as usual the buyers are being a bit stingy.
Aug 17 $10. Bid .85. I'm asking .95. PSEC is at 10.925.
I might just have my option exercised and sell the shares. :- /
I bought some NLY calls yesterday and sold them today. Minor 8% gain.
I'll unload 50% of my FSC today, and probably hold onto the rest for now in my dividend portfolio.
OK everyone...ever play the telephone game and whisper in the next person's ear what the phone conversation was about...well.....;-)
Each stock has its own set of Rules independent of GLAD/3%. ARR and FSC are the only two out of the SS which do not have Glad entry rules.
PSEC is an enter on (X-10), (if Glad is met). Since we do not trade if Glad is not met by X-7, there is only a 4 day window to enter. That is, as X is approached day number 10, 9, 8, and 7, are possibilities for entry if Glad is met. If no position by X-7, then no trade for the month.
Hi Doc...I'm starting to think you did this on purpose! Creating an online version of the ol' telephone game. :)
So, I do have a question...a little time ago, you said you were going to start referring people to me for explanations of GLAD/3%. I sorta thought you were kidding, at the time, but I have (none-the-less) sorta starting doing that (see other posts on this thread).
I've only done it when I think I'm solid with it, and don't really even want to, but just to be sure...is that a good thing?
Doc - if tomorrow is the 1st possible entry on PSEC, then the rules would have been met as of today's close?
1. Higher high, higher low on day before (today) but less than 2% for both.
2. high-close/high-low 20%, today would have been .1/.11 = 90%
3. Never put on a position with or without GLAD where the buy price is more than 5% above the close on the previous EX-1 date
It seems that GLAD is met and should be traded tomorrow....What am I missing?
