Colliers International has arranged a 13,000-square-foot transaction at 3000 Eastpark Boulevard in Cranbury, NJ with Quantex Laboratories, subleasing a portion of Ligand Pharmaceuticals’ space in the building. Quantex Laboratories — which took occupancy of its new space at 3000 Eastpark Boulevard in February, having relocated from Edison, NJ — acts as an extension of analytical, discovery, R&D, manufacturing, and quality teams, serving pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, personal care products, and cosmetics companies.
“Quantex was in search of an existing laboratory space to accommodate its growth needs,” said #$%$ Hecker, a Managing Director in the New Jersey office of Colliers International, who represented the subtenant in the transaction. “The Ligand sublease opportunity features a specialized R&D infrastructure that creates great value and savings for life sciences companies.”
John Cunningham, an Executive Managing Director with Colliers International, represented the sublandlord, Ligand Pharmaceuticals, in the transaction. Ligand Pharmaceuticals is a La Jolla, California based biotech company that specializes in drug discovery and development. Ligand leases the entire 65,000-square-foot 3000 Eastpark Boulevard building, as well as an additional 27,000 square feet in the adjacent 1000 Eastpark Boulevard.
Located on Route 130 in Cranbury, 3000 Eastpark Boulevard is in close proximity to Exit 8A of the New Jersey Turnpike and is 10 minutes from Princeton.
