I checked the minute data and yes that's what happened. Last Monday right before close, a 60000 share bid came in at $5.37. It was filled almost immediately. The stock has been hammered ever since until $4.37. When about 60000 shares went for $4.36. Classic short hammering! That guy lost $60000. The price was run up for the next hour and a bunch of shares were then sold. Stock hasn't really gained anything so it's evident it was just skinning a big fish, quick run up for profit and move on. Brilliant.
