Seems kind of blase' or run of the mill.
Bioinformatics IS a very big deal and would help out in clinical applications (doctors and patients) in understanding that which the array process (DNA decoding) discovers and lays out.
GenoSplice is French with one main location in Evry, France and a satellite spot at some hospital in Paris.
A little strange. Couldn't Affymetrix find a bioinformatics partner here in the US? Whats the advantage in going all the way to France, I wonder? An entry into the EU? A lower price of the process?
A quick search reveals that bioinformatics companies (worldwide) literally runs the alphabet from "A" to "T".
Oh well, I suppose, as long as it's useful from a business standpoint to Affymetrix.....
