Sounds great! Now Vail can go back to establishing themselves as the most visited ski area in the country (versus Breckenridge). But Vail will get crowded. Keystone will be interesting, because they are spending all that money but are destined to lose skiers to Vail/BC. Wonder what the international skiers are going to think about crowded conditions at Vail/BC?

    • after the crowds I just saw, they had to do something and clearly $92 a day wasnt it. I have a place in vail and loved the lack of crowds but for 579, that place is gonna be swamped. That price level is competitive with the worst resorts in colorado.

      • Are they going to continue to offer the Colorado Card at $429ish or have they realized that many out of state people have the Colorado Card already? The Epic Pass won't do much for me as 10 days are more than plenty and another $150 will make me reconsider?

Remember - the traffic problem and now the idea to TAX Colorado residents $5 each way through the tunnel (hopefully that is just weekend peak).

Could this be a sign that Keystone will be on the block?

Crowds? - not much in the way of crowds last week. The lull between Holiday Season and Spring Break or the economy?

I'm sure a lot of international travelers will take advantage of the EPIC Pass as a hedge against increased costs but then the dollar is so week right now anyway. Maybe many will be sold and never used.....
