    Horrible results!

    Missed revs, missed EPS, lowered guidance. Trailing 12 months free cash flow is negative. Taking on more and more debt.

    • New condo's at Breck, new lift at Vail, new gondola at Keystone. VRI is spending money like its going out of style. Not sure I understand the logic.

      Ski operations got off to a slow start because the big snow was late in the fall, which screws up bookings and season pass sales.

      Real Estate in the Rockies DOES continue to move and at strong pricing. Heck, where else ya gonna go if you want to slide down the mountain?

    • these guys are not getting the fact that real estate is not going to sell for $2500 a sq. ft any more for a long time. 2000 sq. ft house selling for $4-5MM--WATCH OUT BELOW.

      With gas at record highs and rents in Vail at record highs, the cost of skiing for a day is too expensive to be sustainable in a tough economy. Next year could be a washout.

      They seem to be expanding right into a weak market.

    • Kiss of death-ticket prices up 5.6% skiers visits down 1% in the best snow year in decades. In outlook they used the word lower like 12 times--across the board--skiing, lodging, Real estate. At 11 times EBITDA for no growth?? try 7 times or $30/share. I am outa here.

    • The best snow year in 15 years and they missed everything. If the 2008-09 season is "normal" we will be crushed. RE will also crater. This is not looking good. Since they are a land bank of sorts and all RE depreciation is in the land, we are going down faster than RE in general. Is there some reason to own this until next spring? real estate --poor: normal snow--poor: bad economy--poor. Where is the good news and it is not a cheap stock.
