Vail valley just had a nice storm blow through leaving about 5" of base layer on the mountain and chilling it off to below zero F. Snow guns are roaring on Vail and Beaver creek constantly.
More weather on Wednesday coming from the north this time. Opening day will be better than average... not looking "epic" at all just yet, but there is still plenty of time and a few more chances to get dumped on before the ropes drop.
As a lifer, this looks like a season with a fat Nov/Dec, skinny January and fat Feb/March and early April. 380 inches is my guess for the year at Vail and 430 at the Beav.
The stock is at the mercy of the market, fundamentals be damned.
