I have been w/ CBSH for over 10 years. Never been disappointed. Just ride the market waves. CBSH profit and ratios keep improving better than the sector, so they will be an attrictive M&A candidate when ever the Kemper family wants to sell, or decide to really compete by buying a brokerage and/or ins. co.
Things went from bad to worse when Greenspan went to Kansas City to make his last speech---home of CBSH. Another possible factor, CBSH banks are in farm country and things aren't so good in farm country. Just guessing.
credit in this bank. Got to believe that this bank group is subject to being acquired in the next two years. Very attractive market share and has to be on money center banks shopping list. Financials in general have been suffering in this market.<EOM>
