    low share price

If you look at Xerox's profitablity on a cash basis - rather than on the Wall Street-hallowed earnings per share basis - the company has been quite profitable.

Why, then, is the company's share price in the toilet?

AS a value investor, I believe that price follows value - i.e., if the value of the shares go up, the share price should follow. But not in this case.

As Buffet says, "Price is what you pay. Value is what you get."

What certainly doesn't help is the fact that the company's depreciation costs have historically outpaced its capital expenditures.
