I am afraid this stock and company are done, as in stick a fork in it. It is a shame, because the ThinkPads are a great product. What they really needed to do was get rid of the top management (Yang & Amelio). They messed up every acquisition they attempted, they messed up the brand marketing and they messed up the consumer launch. Just try to find a Lenovo product in a real retail store, good luck. It is now too late, they don't have the market share to be relevant or competitive. I would suggest HP, Apple or Acer if you must own a PC/tech stock. Forget about Lenovo, it's over.
Thanks for your post. The present price of Lenovo is ridiculous, coppesponds exactly to the cash in hand they have. As well as the behavior to the shareholders up to now is very good. Also is a company is impossible to fail. Ill wait two more years, from the five Yang asked initially. All the best to you.
Old trusted guard is welcomed back to steering wheel, in spite of the fact that, when on 1.11.07 price hit 9hkd, the mother holding company sold hundreds of millions shares in HK and thus ruined the price for ever. Good Luck in the present Ox year.
