    Lenovo denied warranty

I bought a new Lenovo laptop 6 months ago from Costco. The screen display failed earlier this week. Costco told us they only carry manufacturer warranty and ask us to contact Lenovo. After we sent it to Lenovo, Lenovo said they won't honor their warranty, and told us to pay $300 or they will not repair it. The laptop was sitting on my son's desk all the time for him to play chess online. It was never dropped or damaged anyway.
Lenovo sucks! Never buy a Lenovo!

    • I bought a Lenovo laptop 2 years ago. From day one, something was wrong with the keyboard. The dealer said we should handle it directly though Lenovo. The Lenovo help-line said to send it collect to their shop. We sent it and received it back in perfect order 10 days later. Haven't had a problem with it since. I somehow think some facts are missing from your story.

      Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • You are a liar and you know it. Lenovo would never ever walk away from a warranty unless the computer was misused or beyond the warranty period. Their cost to fix something like this is so negligible to their business that they could fix your PC 400 times and they wouldn't find the cost after rounding.

Let me guess, you were laid off by Lenovo recently?

    • Sounds like you are leaving out part of the story....I have had no issues with warranty so far, other than the fact that I had to use warranty at all.
