Don't know why this is news today. Multiple sources have reported for months that the Browse LNG plant might be scrapped in favor of an FLNG vessel being built for Shell by Samsung Heavy Industries. CBI would not participate, but NOV has made a nice move today, presumably as a prospect to gain the subsea systems work at BBI's expense.
From looking up old articles online, the possibility of moving to a floating vessel existed as far back as Aug. 2012. I guess the question is, did management include the Browse project in their most recent revenue projections. I would have to assume they did not, in which case the drop today is a joke.
