SOLTAMOX drug did not sell in 2007. Dara has U.S. rights to sell it.
SOLTAMOX, which Dara has U.S. rights to sell, did not sell in 2007. Searching showed the drug was owned by Savient and licensed to Cytogen in August 2006. From Cytogen's 2007 first quarter report, it showed no sales from SOLTAMOX worth mentioning.
SOLTAMOX must have not sold well and Savient must have sold it to another company. Cytogen merged with EUSA in 2008. Looking at EUSA products shows that they no longer sell SOLTAMOX.
Generic Gemzar ANDA filing later in year 2012. Did you know ANDA takes 1 to 3 years to get approved from FDA? About 10 companies have Gemzar ANDA approved already and Lilly has lost 60% of their revenue from Gemzar. So generic Gemzar from Dara will not appear for a long time.
I do not have a position in DARA, but recent press releases made me look into it.
