This response typifies what we as employees have known all along - that behind the Sypris Catch-22 stands an unswerving principle of Gill might making Gill right. All we can do is learn to navigate their bureaucracy, using their illogical rules to our own advantage wherever possible and wait for the guillotine.
Why is the T&M group organized as a subsidiary? Gill briefly talked about acquisitions in the conference call (he said acquisitions had to be acretive out of the gate....DUH!!! wouldn't we like all of them to be that way???) but I didn't hear anything about disposing of some stale assets. Anyone think that they want to concentrate the T&M group on calibration and then sell off their testing assets because there is no growth in testing?
